Do you accept insurance?
We do not contract with insurance companies for our membership. We intentionally chose this model of care for our practice to prevent delays in receiving care (due to waiting for insurance approval) and third parties making decisions about your health. This enables us to provide you with the flexibility, autonomy, and unhurried care we believe is the best approach to medicine. Click here to learn more.
Depending on your out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get some or all of the visit fees reimbursed. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We do not submit claims or contact insurance companies.
You can choose to use insurance to cover the cost of lab testing and prescription medications.
Why should I join a direct specialty care clinic?
Direct care clinics allow you to receive access to medical care for a flat fee, with no copays or deductibles. Without the restrictions on care with insurance, you’re able to make informed decisions about your health. Also, our patient panel is intentionally limited so you can easily get in touch with Dr. Holt and schedule appointments without waiting for weeks or months.
What's included in the membership?
Our membership includes: 1 telemedicine visit per month, a monthly check-in form with symptom review, prescription medications if medically necessary, follow-up lab testing if necessary, personalized supplement recommendations (with a 10% discount from our online dispensary), and 24/7 access to our secure patient portal to send messages or ask questions.
Are labs and supplements included in the membership?
The cost of lab testing is not included in the membership fees. However, lab testing will be ordered if medically necessary. You can use your health insurance to cover the cost or our laboratory partner for discounted cash-pay rates.
Professional-grade supplements are available from our dispensary at 10% off.
Can I cancel at any time?
We require a 6-month initial committment because in our experience, that is the minimum length of time it will take to optimize and balance your hormones in a membership format. (For deeper, faster transformation that includes coaching, education, and more, we recommend our 3-month clinical programs.) After the initial 6-month committment, you can cancel your membership at any time.
Where do you see patients?
We are licensed to provide telehealth services to women over 21 years old who are in the states of: NY, PA, MD and FL at the time of their visit.
