Where are you located?
Sacred Health Sanctuary is based in Florida and offers telemedicine services to patients who are physically in the States of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland or Florida at the time of their visit.
Do you accept insurance?
Sacred Health Sanctuary does not participate in any insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our practice is private pay, so we are out-of-network with all insurance companies.
We chose this model of care in our practice to provide you with the highest level of care without delays while you wait for insurance approval or third parties to make decisions about your health. This allows us to provide you with the flexibility, autonomy, and unhurried care we believe is the best approach to medicine. Click here to learn more.
Depending on your out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get some or all of the visit fees reimbursed. We can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. However, we do not submit claims or contact insurance companies on your behalf.
Can I use a FSA or HSA?
Yes! Your flexible spending account or health savings account can be used to cover our services, such as clinical programs, telehealth visits, labs, or supplements. Please contact your employer or plan administrator for more details/specifics. We can send you an itemized invoice upon request.
Do you offer lab testing?
We offer conventional and specialty lab testing through our lab partners, based on your symptoms and needs. Testing may be done in-lab or at home through test kits. When labs are ordered, you will receive clear and detailed instructions.
Lab fees are included in the cost of many of our packaged services.* An important component of Functional Medicine is strategic testing instead of guessing, and adjusting your treatment plan based on your unique needs.
*Due to state regulations, New York residents must pay for their labs (or use insurance) at our lab partners.
Do you prescribe medications?
After your initial intake (the Radiant Health Assessment), if you decide to move forward with treatment, medications will be prescribed and managed, if clinically appropriate.
We work with PCAB-accredited pharmacies that utilize vetted protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality-assurance.
Do you sell supplements?
If nutritional supplements are recommended as part of your treatment plan, we will refer you to our online supplement dispensary. We offer a 5-35% discount on supplements purchased through us. Unlike over-the-counter supplements, we only recommend professional-grade supplements from vetted brands that undergo rigorous testing and are free of fillers, additives, and allergens.
Will you become my primary care doctor?
Sacred Health Sanctuary is a specialty practice, so we complement (rather than replace) your primary care provider. It’s important that you continue seeing your primary care provider for general health needs and concerns. We also encourage you to share the results of any lab testing we perform with your PCP.
